Diamond Cut Wheels
The factory-fresh machined look, restored. CNC lathe diamond cutting for a precision machined face finish on compatible wheel designs.
Why Rim Rehab
Diamond cut wheels have a distinctive look — a bright machined aluminium face with a painted barrel. When damaged, standard repainting can't restore that machined appearance. We use CNC lathe technology to refinish compatible designs, restoring the bright face before repainting the barrel and applying a protective clear coat.
How It Works
Compatibility Check
Design, previous repairs and metal thickness assessed before proceeding.
Barrel Strip & Repair
Barrel stripped and any damage repaired prior to lathe work.
CNC Lathe Machining
Wheel face machined on a CNC lathe for a precise, bright finish.

FAQ
What is a diamond cut wheel?
A wheel with a machined aluminium face — cut on a CNC lathe — giving a bright, almost chrome-like face with a painted barrel behind it.
Can my diamond cut wheels be repaired after kerb damage?
Yes, in most cases. Kerb damage to the face is machined away during the lathe process. Deep damage may affect the face profile — we'll assess from photos.
How many times can diamond cut wheels be machined?
Each pass removes a small amount of metal. Most wheels can be done 2–3 times before the metal becomes too thin — we verify thickness before proceeding.
Will the clear coat protect the machined face?
Yes — the lacquer clear coat is essential. Without it the bare aluminium will oxidise quickly.
How do I know if my wheels are diamond cut?
A bright, slightly reflective machined face, often with fine concentric lathe lines. Send a photo and we'll confirm.
